Availability and Rates

Thank you for your interest in Sea Salt Cottage, an Outer Banks vacation rental located in the heart of Nags Head! We are both the owners and the managers of the home – this means you have personal and direct contact with us during your stay. And, you can book directly with us to avoid the additional fees websites like VRBO/HomeAway charge. (This can save you as much as $300 or more during summer weeks!)

Our summer weeks book extremely fast, so please do not wait to book your Sea Salt Cottage vacation!

Rental rates depend on the time of year you’re interested in. We require 7 day stays with Saturday to Saturday rental periods for the timeframe of Memorial Day through Labor Day.Stays outside of that timeframe may be shorter – typically with 3 to 4 night minimums.

You may also use the Contact Us form on this website for the fastest reply. If you prefer a phone call, please call 757-219-2856. (Due to the nature of our schedule, we will typically get back to emails and online requests faster!)

Please note: You may send us a reservation request via that the VRBO/HomeAway websites if you prefer. We understand some people like to book via those websites. Please keep in mind that any reservations made via the VRBO/HomeAway websites add an additional fee to your stay – typically adding up to $100-300 more a stay. We do not control the fee and can’t cancel it. If you book directly with us, we do not charge the fee because your rental will not be processed through their website.

What’s Required To Reserve Sea Salt Cottage:
To reserve Sea Salt, 50% of your payment is due, along with a signed lease agreement that is emailed to you. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your stay and will be billed via a secure website where you can pay with any major credit card.
